  Illogical illustration of “the rich man and the poor man Lazarus” (Luke 16:19-31)

  illustration of the rich man and the poor man lazarus indirectly hints that the materially rich would go to hell and the poor ones to heaven.

  if one reads between the lines, one can discern that this illustration is a later adoption intended to exploit the rich using the poor as a means.. i have friends who are extremely rich (net-worth in billions) and also who are materially very poor, and have found both are living in hell because of their attitude.

  the excess the rich have prevents them from enjoying it (and even the affluent find a huge gap between income and desires, hence find themselves often in conflict and competition) and whereas the deprived compare themselves with the haves which prevents them also from enjoying their lives.. jesus would not provide an illustration that undermines his own most favored statement: “happy are those poor in spirit because kingdom of heavens belongs to them” (mathew 5:3) and his own explanation that heaven is the condition of one’s heart (luke 17:21) obviously he had in mind those who do not have the baggage of attachment and sense of possession, those few people of simplicity that belong to both the categories—the rich and the poor. simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, a stage where every possession serves a purpose living a life that is deliberate and intentional (not one that someone else has scripted for them) and wanting to feel more complete (not more objects of the world), at ease.

  This Story Says It All

  this story shows the sad reality of being a jw in a medical emergency, and how incredibly difficult it is to make an informed, free choice about medical care.

  it also shows that for jw's, obeying watchtower leaders is more important than marriage or even the life of your child.

  Subliminal images - why and who are the individuals behind it?

  i remember about 5 years ago reading on another site about subliminal images in wt literature.

  i honestly thought it a load of bs until i checked out one glaringly obvious image of a creepy skull in clouds within the knowledge book.

  i was shocked and even showed my wife at the time who thought it was creepy.. so my question is why?

  Aye, that is so. All Protestant movements originated with Roman Catholicism and, unfortunately, retained many, many of its false beliefs. The WTBorg continue to propagate these same false beliefs even today. There is in fact, little difference between WT teachings and MainLine Christendom teachings. Especially those teachings relating to "money" and "tithes." Mammon has become the "New Master." They (WTBorg) have brought themselves into alignment with the proposed "One World Religion" as it attempts to obliterate the Really Good News of The Word.   Occult images and symbols are quite profuse in movies, advertising and especially music videos. It is a way for the producing organization to "signify" to "those in the know" that they are supportive of and a part of The World and where it is headed: New World Order.

  A principal characteristic of all such organizations is the Love of Money. It is not possible to serve two masters. The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society is today still a sect of Roman Christendom. It has, in fact, never gotten out of Roman Christendom. Their deceptions have fooled a great many people.
  

  The WTBorg Cult has little to do with the Really Good News of The Word.

  had the misfortune of stopping by the "regional" convention yesterday.

  i promised my daughter i would come to sunday afternoon so she wouldnt have to ride home with her mother.... holy crap it was weird!

  im sure all of this has been covered on the forum but to actually see it.... just wow.

  Not surprising actually. When the modern day Pharisees take control of something this is always the end result. The Masters of Hollywood and the Entertainment Industry have got all the angles worked out to perfection in order to rake in the dough. The Monarch Butterfly as a symbol of the trauma based mind control sex slave program is significant as well. The Jdubs are already well conditioned to spy on others suspiciously and to "report" any signs of potential apostasy. Yep, Orwell's 1984 pretty closely aligns with the New World Order and it would appear that WTGBborg plans to be part of it...

  Reached a milestone today!

  today represents for me something of a milestone.

  after breaking both bones in my lower left leg nearly four months ago, i am now able to walk without the aid of crutches.

  also, the orthopedic specialist has cleared me to once more drive a motor vehicle.

  I Give Up!

  im giving up guys.

  i've reached the end of my patience and now i finally refuse to waste any more time on part-time witnesses.

  i've text all of my active jw family members and told them to delete my number from their phone and never contact me again.

  How very sad. Well illustrates how deeply embedded the Programming and Guilt and Fear are as a result of the coordinated Mind Control Operation.

  There is yet hope, however. Seeds have been planted which will yet germinate and take root. Waking up for most is a gradual process with many "one step forward two steps back" events which can be very frustrating to observe. There is no logic or rationale involved - the deep seated fears are very strong emotions and when they "trigger" the "Borg effect" kicks in.

  After you've survived the frustration and peace returns, you'll realize that "giving up" is not a prudent option. Your strengths, your patience, your long-suffering and your Love are what bring them to you in times of need. One day they'll all comprehend that and thank you for it!

  My disassociation story

  following is a summary of events leading up to my decision to disassociate from jehovah's witnesses and the unforeseen results of that decision.. a young man named joel engardio produced a documentary about jehovah's witnesses called "knocking" which aired nationally on pbs.

  i purchased the dvd from joel before it was even released and we exchanged emails.

  joel had been raised by his jw mother and had been active in jw activities during his adolescence, but he was never baptized as a jw.

  When a Wife walks away from a marriage in circumstances such as those, in all likelihood the Wife had been desirous of separation for quite some time and simply needed a "legitimate" excuse. When Love is gone from a marriage there are usually certain signs. Had either of you, Roger or Daniel, noticed any peculiarities in your Wives prior to your decision?
